Eventznet News and Articles
We update our news section when we have something new to tell you about. Join our mailing list to get Eventznet and event industry news directly into your mail box.

Our news is usually pretty introspective - even when it's good, so instead of publishing a regular newsletter about us, we have Sarah Says - the Eventznet Business Blog. We also publish a regular e-newsletter with articles and events industry news under the NEO Ireland brand. We are also creating a new e-zine on e-marketing and life online. Old News

9th & 10th October 2007 : Aching feet, hoarse voices and that strange surreal feeling follow our participation at the 2007 Marketing Expo in the RDS. We met loads of old friends and hopefully get to start to know plenty of new ones as well.

17th August 2007 : We've Moved! - Our new address is No 1, Rogans Court, Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. New Phone Lines: 01 2303 526/527

16th January 2006 : We're finalists in the Digital Media Awards 2006 in the Business to Business Innovation category. Taking an idea from its inception stage to the point where it is a tangible product in daily use around the globe is no easy task - and it takes an exceptional team! We're really proud that we've booked in more than 10,000 guests, processed more than 1.5 million euros in payments and powered the registration and RSVPs for over 150 events. We've also saved quite a few trees in the process, as event organisers move online and cut out the paper mountains!

26th October 2005 : Eventznet won the Best Marketing Innovation Award at the 9th Annual HSMAI Awards! We went along to the awards ceremony to cheer along the other NEO members shortlisted for HSMAI awards, and I nearly fell off my chair when they anounced we'd won. It's really brilliant to be recognised for marketing innovation by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (Ireland). It makes all the hard work seem not so painful any more!

October 2005 : It's been a hectic few months for us, NEO Ireland was launched in July and has been going from strength to strength. See www.neoireland.com for Ireland's only events industry directory and network. We had our third birthday in July, welcomed Lisa Russell to the team in September and hosted the Impress Me! seminar together with NEO Ireland. October seems to be awards month: we were nominated for the NetVisionary Awards and have been shortlisted for the Marketing Innovation award at the HSMAI awards. Back to the grindstone - Ireland's events are going on-line as fast as we can get them there...

June 2005 : NEO Ireland, the Network for Event Organisers in Ireland is to be launched in early July. We have been working hard on creating the organisation and its portal - see www.neoireland.com. More information about NEO Ireland will follow shortly.

May 2005 : Event Marketing - What Works the seminar and networking event for event organisers worked! More than one hundred event organisers from a wide variety of organisations and business sectors attended. To view a summary of the seminar please click here.

April 2005: We're delighted to announce the first of our series of seminars for event organisers. Entitled Event Marketing - What Works, the seminar will be an information packed morning in the Guinness Storehouse on Tuesday, May 17th. For full details of speakers and topics and to book your place, please go to www.eventznet.ie/eventmarketing.

March 2005: We've got a new look and feel! We've updated our corporate identity to better reflect where the company has grown to over the past three years. Hope you like it!
