Seminar : Event Marketing - What Works was the first in our series of seminars for event organisers on the 17th of May 2005. It was a practical and informative morning, focussing on real world examples of how to best fill the seats at your event. Speakers included Terry Cullinane of PlatinumOne, Gerard Tanham of Islandbridge and Sarah Carroll of Eventznet. We also heard excellent presentations from Dee Moore of Bord Iascaigh Mhara and Paul Lanigan from the Sandler Sales Institute. Event Marketing - What Works was chaired by Ross Golden-Bannon of Bannon & Bannon PR.

Almost 100 event organisers from a variety of organisations and companies attended, and a significant amount of networking was done. Here's what some of the attendees had to say:

More than 60% of attendees expressed an interest in a network for event organisers in Ireland. The same number said that they would attend another event organisers seminar.
